Going a different route.

The Barn door didn't align with the overall design. So I took it down and decided to add a pocket door instead. I first had to open up the wall, some drop ceiling and the door leading into the furnace room. This had the added bonus of having to remove the LCD screen that was installed on the opposite side of the main wall. I also had to relocate the room light switch.
